What up?
This is Liz, and I guess I will be the first to write a “real blog”. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about the local music scene, our upcoming album release, self image, etc…obivously my mind has been busy. So i’m just gonna go deep and jump into my thoughts, maybe purge it onto the page, so my brain can rest a bit…
The local music scene- The local scene is like a high school to me; it consists of the cool/popular kids, the outcasts, the middle of the road guys,the hipsters, the druggies/drunks..it really is an interesting parallel. I’m still not sure which category we would fall into; much like when I was in High School..I guess in my mind we would be the “middle of the road guys”..but thats just a guess. It’s so easy to get caught up in the “hype” of the internet, I’m guilty of it, I admit it. You see certain bands gettin a ton of “likes” on FB, getting booked for [...]
